As a Homeschool Pro parent you receive a personalized digital teacher ID card, kept in a dedicated mobile app on your phone. It recognizes the role you play in your child's education, and it's the card to show when educator identification is requested or educator discounts are offered.

Many retailers, software companies, museums, zoos and attractions offer teacher pricing. Not everywhere does, but where they do, it adds up over a school year.

Educator programs, previews and field-trip pricing at museums, science centers and historic sites often ask for a teacher ID. Now you have one.
Recognition
You plan the year, guide the lessons and keep the records. The card says what's true: you're the teacher.

What's on it, and how it works.
- Your name, photo and signature
- Teacher ID number and your city and state
- A valid-through date, renewed while your membership is active
- A scannable QR code
- Homeschool Pro home educator branding, so it's recognized as a teacher ID
Your teacher ID lives in the same ID Cards mobile app as your students' cards, so the whole family's IDs are on one phone. To get yours, fill out the short Teacher ID Card form in your Parent Portal; activation instructions are sent to the email address you provide, typically within 3 to 4 business days.
In real life
Learning happens everywhere. So does the ID.
Homeschool learning doesn't only happen at a desk. It happens on field trips, at museums and libraries, at activities and programs, anywhere a family is learning together.
In this video, a Homeschool Pro mom and her son show how their digital IDs work in real life. She has her teacher ID on her phone; he has his student ID on his. When they visit a zoo, a museum, an aquarium, a science center, a nature center or a historic site, she asks whether student or homeschool educator discounts are available. Not every place offers them, but when they do, it adds up, and there's nothing to print and nothing to dig out of a folder.
For parents, the teacher ID recognizes the role they play in guiding their child's education. For students, the student ID makes homeschooling feel official.
